Using proprietary approaches to location based filtering and relevancy, we are helping brands re-imagine what is possible through this valuable channel. As we take our product to the next level and add to our growing development team, we are seeking an exceptional front end developer to help create remarkable products. Working in a fun, fast paced environment, this person will be a true team player that excels in a collaborative environment and understands the unique expectations and opportunities that come with a growing start up.
This is a full time position with a competitive base salary, benefits and will be based at our offices in the River North area of Downtown Chicago.

This position will have primary responsibility for our front-end JavaScript application. You should be familiar with JavaScript MVC frameworks and the MVC design pattern as it pertains to the web. You should also have a working knowledge of Python and associated frameworks such as Flask, Django, Pylons, etc.
Being a dynamic startup, youâll also have the chance to develop your skills in other areas including API design and implementation, cloud architecture, social media APIâs, messaging systems, development processes, etc.

Need To Have
- Deep understanding of web services and cloud technologies
- Ability to work in a fluid, fast paced and collaborative environment

Nice To Have
- You are a full stack developer.
- Experience developing web applications using Ember.js
- Good knowledge of SCM tools including Git
- Knowledge of build automation tools, such as maven and fabric
- Proficiency in working in a Linux environment
- Experience working with Social APIâs including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Knowledge of messaging systems including RabbitMQ, Celery, etc.
